Rebuild or new?

Rebuild, without a doubt!

When purchasing (an installation with) a valve, the designer always strives to offer the best possible solution for your application and/or production process. Despite the wide variety in valve offerings, the reality is that a perfectly tailored valve rarely meets standards. Ideally, a custom valve is built after extensive testing in the production environment, but often a standard version is adapted to individual needs by adding numerous options. Consequently, purchasing a new valve is often a search for the proverbial needle in a haystack.

A used valve tells a story.

A used valve leaves traces. The wear lines of a used valve reveal something about its weak points; about the usage of the valve (flow rate, pressure differences, rotation speed, etc.). This information is invaluable for adjusting the execution of the valve and fine-tuning its usage. A refurbished valve is therefore better than new because each adjustment is tailored to your production process. Furthermore, a rebuild can be repeated multiple times (a sustainable solution) and is often more cost-effective. Win-win-win!
